I believe that when I finally head back home, it'll still be there and my family and friends spared from the destruction fast at their heels. It might be wishful thinking, but you need to believe the same too for your own home.

D.Va, you're a good person. You're strong and talented. I could tell that from the moment I spoke with you, and was further clued in to your capabilities when we navigated the Stingray together. You do your best to do your part, but remember others are there to lend you a hand too.

I don't know, perhaps the people here aren't as vocal about it, but I'm sure some look up to you without your realising. Besides--not to get too deep on this but, the only person you need to prove anything to is yourself. You're doing everything that you can with what you've been given, so this much has to be enough.

And if that isn't enough, I don't mind holding a conversation about it at two in the morning.

I'm glad, and you're welcome. As for being a leader... It's more of what I do for a living. I went to a military academy, so I suppose in the end we end up talking like we're amping ourselves up for a last stand. The lion thing though, that's new. I do what needs doing.

Over a year ago, I was chosen to be the pilot on a mission to take two of Earth's most qualified space researchers to Kerberos, one of Pluto's moon. It was the farthest humanity has ever traveled in space, and it was an honour for me to be chosen as one of the people involved. Not soon after we got there, we got captured by an alien ship.

The Galra.

Needless to say, my time in captivity was not--good. To put it lightly. My friends, the researchers, they're still there. I managed to escape, after a year of being captured, and I managed to get back to Earth.

The Galra were looking for something, and I knew they were headed to Earth. They would enslave humanity and destroy anything to get their hands on it. The strongest weapon that could give Galra, and Zarkon, their leader, the power he needed to be unbeatable.

[he refuses to utter/spell out the name, just in case 'voltron' somehow registers and the galra find out where he is. alien technology is scary.]

When I arrived back on Earth, a friend of mine from before and three others and myself managed to find one of the components of this weapon. We boarded it, and it took us several light years away into a different galaxy, where we would consequently find the other components, and with that, in time, be able to defeat Zarkon and stop him from dominating the universe for his own desires and wants.

The lion robot I've been looking for? There's five others. That's what it's for.

Thank you. I do have to admit, that being here has been like having a break from everything that I returned home to, even with what's been happening. Being here is a lot refreshing, and I'm glad I've met you and Rin and others as well.
